Below are some of the workshops we offer.

Counselling Workshops

Autism Workshop

Covered in this workshop are topics such as understanding autism, sensory differences, supporting behaviour and emotional regulation.

Anxiety Workshop

This workshop will cover what anxiety is, how it may affect children and young people as well as signs and strategies that parents can employ to support their anxious child.

Depression Workshop

This workshop will include what depression is, the signs and symptoms of depression in children as well as the causes of depression. A closer look will be taken to how to treat and prevent depression in young children.

Grief and Bereavement Workshop

In this workshop, we will explore and gain a better understanding of grief and complicated grief as well as common reactions to grief. Additional topics covered will be coping with secondary losses, supporting children through the grief process and strategies to support the grief process.

Eating Disorder Workshop

The Eating Disorder Workshop aims to educate caregivers on the types of eating disorders, the signs and symptoms of eating disorders in young people as well as understanding what treatment and support options are available to the child.

Emotionally Based School Avoidance Workshop

This workshop aims to support caregivers whose children experience anxious thoughts and feelings that result in school avoidance. Additionally, we will take a closer look at what strategies parents can implement to support their children as well as the role of schools.

Gender Identity and Sexual Orientation Workshop

This workshop will explore themes around gender identity and sexual orientation as well as gaining a better understanding of the differences between gender identity and sexual orientation. We will also consider the different ways in which parents can support their children.

Self Esteem Workshop

This workshop covers understanding what low self-esteem looks like in children and young people, the affect that low self-esteem has and how to develop a strong sense of confidence in your child.

Self-Harm Workshop

This course aims to create better communication and personal relationships between caregivers and children who struggle with self-harm.

Trauma Workshop

This workshop focuses on the role and impact of trauma on both child and caregiver. It aim is to gain a better understanding of what trauma is, what the signs and symptoms are and how to reduce the distress of trauma.
