‘Hello, my name is Kelly! Having previously studied Psychology and Language Sciences at undergraduate level at UCL, I will complete my masters degree in Speech and Language Therapy (UCL) at the end of September 2021. Over the years, I have worked as a teaching assistant at an early years clinic, a therapy assistant at an adult communication clinic and volunteered for various charities (e.g. Stamma and The Stroke Association). I am passionate about helping children with speech, language and communication difficulties to reach their full potential in a fun and engaging way. I also hope to continue develop my interests in DLD, bilingualism and voice disorders. What I love about working with Kids First is that I get to be part of a friendly, supportive and collaborative team of therapists who share the passion to being the best we can for our clients. In my spare time, I enjoy going to live music gigs and exploring local food specialities around London! If you had to call my best friend and ask them to describe me, I think they’d describe me as playful, creative and efficient.’
